Meet the Team
Lauren
Renee
Lauren and Renee met while classmates at Boston University Questrom School of Business. They bonded over their home state of Illinois; Renee was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago and Lauren in Bloomington. Lauren moved to Chicago and became a licensed broker shortly after graduating in 2008. Renee stayed in Boston and opened a restaurant called Saus in 2011.
We both grew from there; Lauren built (and has since sold) Owl Managment brokerage and property management company, and found a passion for restoring iconic Chicago Workers Cottages. Renee opened a second restaurant location and Airbnb management company. Renee missed her hometown (namely her family, Superdawg, Foster Beach, and her friend Lauren) so she moved back to Chicago in 2021 and that's when Lauren planted the first seeds of the RL Team.
It felt like the right time to combine Lauren's years of experience in real estate and Renee's hospitality-driven approach to help people buy and sell real estate in a city we both love.
